A dense network and an accessible credit offering
The network of retail banks in Belgium is one of the most dense in the world. Because of Belgium's international openness, more than half of banking activities involve international financial activities. Furthermore, the credit offering for companies is large and particularly accessible for companies which submit good quality credit applications.

Financial aids: key partners
Several solutions are available in Wallonia for companies with a development project that are looking for funding:
- The SRIW Group intervenes financially in the development projects of Walloon companies or companies based in Wallonia. It participates in their growth alongside private investors via loans and strategic investment.
- Sowalfin provides entrepreneurs with financial tools adapted to their needs, thus contributing to the implementation of their projects. For a particularly targeted action, it has constituted subsidiaries that respond to specific needs expressed by companies. And in the frame of its financial activities, it collaborates with different partners (investors, banks, leasing companies, etc.)
- BE ANGELS, a support and funding network for innovative companies during the start-up phase
- Private initiatives (bringing together regional development stakeholders) such as E-Capital also complete the risk capital offering
