Three years after its implementation, the Marshall Plan has been given a positive assessment, according to Wallonia Minister-President, Rudy Demotte.
The Marshall Plan has been assessed by a special delegate and by the IWEPS (Wallonia Evaluation, Forecasting and Statistics Institute). The initial targets set by the Plan have been reached or will be this year, states the report. In other words, 85% of the funds provided have been allocated.
In particular, the Marshall Plan has allowed the creation of 27,239 jobs, the training of 115,076 people, and the recruitment of 1250 new researchers, together with investment by companies in free trade zones.
