One year after opening a store in Mons, the sporting equipment supply chain has accelerated its installation in Wallonia by opening a new store in La Louvière.
The investment involved 7 million Euros, 4,400 square metres of sales area and 400 car park spaces.
Regarding employment, Decathlon is continuing its policy in favour of employing local inhabitants. The personnel, totalling 60 people, were hired within a radius of 25 kilometres around La Louvière. A great prospect for the city’s economic development.
