The 3rd Kobe University Brussels European Centre Symposium Green Innovation & Life Innovation – for sustainable growth and society by Japan-EU collaboration – will stand on december 6th, with the participation of Prof. Philippe Dubois (Vice-rector of Université de Mons), Prof. Dr. François Reniers (Vice President of Greenwin) and many Prof. from Kobe University.
Today, Japan and the EU have many social and environmental issues in common. This symposium aims to exchange information and solutions to these problems between the scientists from both Japan and the EU, and promote further cooperation in research activities. The themes of symposium, Green Innovation and Life Innovation, are two of the major concepts suggested by the Japanese government in its New Growth Strategy as well as by the EU in Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. In the symposium, the leading scientists from Japan and the EU in areas related to Green Innovation and Life Innovation will present their latest research findings.
