This Mons-based company, a ‘serious game’ and video game developer that reached the 70% export threshold for the past two years, was the recipient of the Prix Tremplin à l’exportation.
Founded in 2008 by four friends under the age of 30, this small company “has hired a dozen new people per year for the past two years, to keep up with its rapid growth,” explains Laurent Grumiaux, Sales Director.
The Prix Tremplin à l’exportation [Springboard Award for Exports] puts the spotlight on a company that has performed remarkably well, but has not yet reached an average of 70% exports over the past three fiscal years. The company was recognized at the awards ceremony held on September 25th at the Théâtre du Manège in Mons.
The strength of this small company, which now works with the big names throughout the world, “is its creativity in its niche market of ‘casual games’ and ‘serious games,’ as well as the technology it develops in order to be able to respond very quickly and simultaneously on all platforms, including iPhone, Android, Xbox, PC, Mac, Linux and Nintendo 3DS.”
