France encourages its entrepreneurs to invest in Belgium

In a document sent to the 114 Chambers of Commerce and Industry in France, the main advantages cited are highly skilled, multilingual and productive workforce, the platform role of our country, the very dynamic and internationalised economic environment, etc.

The favourable tax environment is also cited for the notional interest deduction, the absence of tax on capital gains, the scheme for foreign workers, the tax shelter aspects, etc.

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Belgium (FCCIB) identified some 1,700 subsidiaries of French companies established in Belgium. Last year, trade between Belgium and France showed a positive balance in favour of Belgium of EUR 18.4 billion.
